Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2, 2026
By accessing or using jsonformattercheck.com (“the site”), you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Service description
The site provides free, browser-based JSON tools: JSON formatter, validator, diff, tree viewer, JSONPath tester, JWT decoder, and JSON schema validator. All processing happens client-side in your browser.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or to violate the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or disrupt the site.
- Use automated tools to overload our hosting infrastructure.
- Upload or process data you do not have the right to handle.
3. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (but not limited to) merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. While we strive for correct JSON parsing, validation, and JWT decoding, you must independently verify results before relying on them in production systems.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, jsonformattercheck.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or profits — arising out of or related to your use of the site.
5. Your data
We do not collect or store the JSON, JWTs, schemas or queries you process on the site. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Intellectual property
The site’s name, branding, copy, layout and original code are the property of jsonformattercheck.com. The JSON, JWTs and schemas you paste into the tools remain entirely yours.
7. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party documentation (e.g. JSON RFCs, JSON Schema specs). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
